Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks (born April 15 1997) is an American actress best recognized for her role as Joan Holloway during the first seven seasons of AMC's historical drama Mad Men. The show has earned her six Emmy nominations, including best supporting actress and deserved praise from critics. Through her professional career, which has spanned over twenty years, she's also been recognized for her role in the legal drama Kevin Hill comedy series Another Period crime drama series Tin Star and comedy-crime series Good Girls. For her work in movies her name has been praised by critics for Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers: Prey in the Night Egg as well as American Woman. In addition, she has provided voiceovers in animation films, such as From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 and Scoob!. Her modeling career started in the early days of modeling and continued through the years, until her first appearance as an actor on TV with Undressed, a 1999 television show. Her first big role was in the drama comedy series Beggars and Choosers following which was also recognized for her part in the cult hit Firefly. Esquire magazine voted her as the most beautiful woman in America and also the attractive woman in the world in 2010.
