Aisling O'Sullivan, better known as her stage name Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984) is an Irish actor, writer and comedian. Bea's acting career started in the year 2011 as a comedian following her appearance in a few part for Irish and British television shows beginning in 2009. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian, an equine vet who was killed at the age of three when Bea reached the age of three, was an victim of self-harm. She was told about his passing at thirteen years of age. To honor her father, she took the stage name Bea and, in the year 2017, wrote an article about suicides and deaths that affected her family for The Guardian. Bea's mother Helen She is a jockey-trainer and former pro jockey was responsible for taking care of her and Sinead. Her family were in love with racing and horses. When she was a child, Bea employed as a tour guide for the Irish National Stud however she realized at an early age that she wasn't keen on the sport of racing for a profession, but instead enjoyed performing.
